Inflation Concerns Boost Treasury Yields

Treasury yields rise as inflation fears overcome the flight for safety that has pressured them down during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The 10-year climbs back to last week’s level of 1.844%, up from 1.748% Monday, while the two-year rises to 1.589% from 1.546% and the 30-year reaches 2.241% from 2.149%. “Yields are steady to higher as rising energy and agricultural products [reignite] climbing inflation fears,” Spartan’s Peter Cardillo says.
